Antique Deco Cast Iron Bookend Doorstop Shakespeare Bust Profile Heavy Bronze Finish

We are offering an antique single heavy bookend / door stop, measuring about 5.5” tall, 4.75” wide, and 1.75” deep. This piece depicts a side profile in relief, with a banner that reads “Shakespeare”. There is some bronzing across the edges and the high points of the relief, giving the image a sense of depth. Solid cast iron is heavy enough to hold up a stack of books without tipping over.

This piece is the perfect addition to any collection.

Very good condition with minimal age-related wear. There is some surface rust and spots of patina, as expected of a piece of this age.
