We are offering a large, massive antique Art Deco Japanese vase with lovely moriage and jewel detail, measuring about 15” tall x 11" wide (at handles) . This lovely piece really captures the elegance of the art nouveau aesthetic, with both delicate flowers and intricate detailing. Interesting face handles.
This piece is the perfect addition to any collection. The base is marked “Made in Japan ”, though it is worn. Early 1920 mark. Early Nippon.
Very good to excellent condition with no cracks or chips and minimal crazing. Interesting piece of something from the kiln got embedded in the back. Looks like it was shot at!
