Antique Silver & Antler Cheese Marrow Scoop 1856(?) Carving
We are offering an antique sterling silver plate and antler cheese/ marrow scoop, most likely from 1856. This piece measures about 11.5”, and has a lovely floral motif on the neck of the scoop and leaf motif on the handle. This piece is the perfect addition to any collection. The silver cap on the bottom of the handle is stamped with a British date mark.
Good to very good condition, with some small chipping of the silver plate at the edge of the scoop and the top of the neck.
