Antique French Brass Ormolu Filigree Gilt Leaf Picture Frame Mirror Victorian
Today we have a beautiful antique French Victorian tabletop mirror featuring an exceptionally ornate gilt brass ormolu filigree surround cast in a naturalistic foliate motif. The frame retains its original easel back covered in burgundy velvet and may be displayed on a tabletop or hung from the two integrated hanging rings. The original glass remains in place.

Condition:
Very good antique condition. Displays age-appropriate wear, including surface patina, oxidation, and areas of verdigris throughout the ormolu decoration. Velvet backing shows expected wear from age and use. Glass has light surface wear consistent with age. Theere is no bottom back of the mirror holder, we don't believe there ever was, but putting in notes so prospective buyers are aware while handling. Sits perfectly in place when displayed as intended, but do take care when handling. Please review all photos carefully as they are part of the description.
