Vintage German Porcelain Ram’s Head Vase – Blue & White Relief – 5¼”
Offered here is a striking antique German porcelain vase featuring a beautifully modeled ram’s head motif with prominent curled horns forming decorative handles. The piece is executed in a classic blue and white palette with hand-applied gilt accents and raised floral garland detailing around the body.The vase has a classical urn form with a f lared rim, pedestal base, and high relief decoration throughout.
The interior base bears a blue underglaze German mark (see photos), and though currently unattributed, is very consistent with late 19th to early 20th century German decorative porcelain production.
