We are offering an antique Limoges porcelain decorative hand painted wall cabinet plate, measuring about 6.75” in diameter. The plate is floral in shape with the center decorated in a lovely garden scene. A young couple sits on a bench, the man playing a flute and the woman reading a book. A gold trim follows the petals about the edge. This piece is the perfect addition to any collection.
Beautiful radiating shell design! The retailer was Lazarus Strauss & Sons of New York.
The bottom of the plate is stamped with two Limoges marks, meaning this piece is from 1896-1905.
Excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing.
