Antique Nippon Nagoya Demitasse Tea/Coffee Pot HP Mt Fuji Tree Land Scene Japan
Offered here is a lovely hand painted Nagoya Nippon pretty Demi tasse teapot coffee pot.What is interesting is the hand painted scene. Not the typical roses and flowers which are the most common forms you find. Very unusual to find a landscape scene on a tea pot / coffee pot or demi tasse.
The scene is a view a river with trees, a river bank and sail boats with a snowy Mt. Fuji in the background. The scene continues around the pot. The tree continues on the top of the lid. It appears to be an overcast day. Nice gold leaf decoration with a little bit of moriage jewels in the gold ornate banding.
Marked "Nagoya, S N B, Nippon ".
Measures approximately 7.5" wide, handle to spout and 7" high. Diameter at bottom is close to 4".
Item is in excellent condition, no chips cracks or breaks.
