Antique Nippon Stoneware Brown Black Spill Vase Ceramic Meiji? Rare Japanese
We are offering an antique ceramic spill vase, measuring about 6” tall and 3.25” in diameter at its widest point. This piece is a lovely stoneware, with a matte glaze in a very dark brown that appears black. About the neck are floral triangle designs and the body is textured. The bottom is unmarked, but based on the designs we believe this piece to be Japanese, from the Meiji period before 1891. This piece is the perfect addition to any collection!
Excellent condition with no chips or cracks. There may be some mark inscribed in the bottom, but it is so faint we cannot say for sure. So we are this piece as unmarked.
