Antique uranium glass vase featuring a finely executed hand-enameled portrait of a romanticized European woman. The glass has a soft pale green tone in natural light and displays a vivid neon green glow under ultraviolet light.
The body is decorated with moriage scrollwork, floral relief, and gilt accent bands at the rim and base. The portrait is rendered in a late Victorian style.
Maker is unmarked, which is common for decorative uranium glass lamp bases of this period. Likely European manufacture (France or Bohemia), circa 1895–1915.
