Antique Victorian 10-14k Rose Gold Poseidon Neptune Intaglio Carved Carnelian Fob Charm Pendant
Item here is an antique Victorian 10-14k rose gold Poseidon Neptune intaglio carved carnelian fob charm pendant. This charm is unmarked but has been tested for being 14k gold. Beautifully carved intaglio carnelian gem in a nice Victorian rose gold setting.
This was made by hand in gold in the 1800's, during the Victorian times. At that time they did not have the xray machines to exactly calculate the percent of karat gold. A jeweler would mix 24 karat gold with a percent of another metal to make it 14 karat gold. Sometimes they could be off. We understand this being estate Jewelers
