Antique Victorian Figural Bird Sewing Clamp with Green Pin Cushions & Thimble
Today we have an Antique Victorian sewing clamp featuring a decorative bird, complete with two green velvet pin cushions and a brass-tone thimble.
One green pin cushion is mounted beside the bird, while a smaller matching cushion is positioned on its back. A thimble fits over the smaller cushion when not in use
The lower portion incorporates a screw-type table clamp with a decorative openwork turning handle, allowing the sewing accessory to be secured to the edge of a table or work surface. The combination of sculptural bird form, sewing utility, and original-style velvet cushions makes this a particularly appealing example of Victorian sewing-related decorative arts.

Shows age-appropriate wear throughout, including surface oxidation, discoloration, rubbing, wear and staining to the green velvet, and visible old residue/repair around the smaller upper cushion mount. The thimble also shows surface wear and patina. The bolt for clamp adjustment is a bit stuck in a limited range and would need some work to get it fully operational.
