Antique Victorian-era sewing pin cushion in a charming acorn or heart form, featuring a domed fabric-covered cushion fitted with an ornate repoussé sterling silver cap. The cap is richly decorated and has with a suspension ring, allowing the piece to be worn from a chatelaine or sewing chain.
The cushion retains its original-looking aged fabric covering with visible wear from use. The metal has developed a dark, attractive patina that emphasizes the detailed repoussé decoration. Piece is unmarked.
