ANTIQUE Victorian WATER LILY & PANSY HAND PAINTED PORCELAIN BUTTON SCREW BACK EARRINGS
Offered here are two separate pairs of antique, Victorian hand painted, porcelain button screw back earrings, with water lily & pansy designs, respectively. Made in Germany
The earrings with the water lily design are oval, measuring, 1" x 3/4". They have a black background with a beautifully hand painted image of a water lily in soft tones of pink, green, and yellow. Black background has some chipping, but it is minimal and in no way detracts from the beauty or integrity of the earrings.
The pansy designed earrings are round, measuring; approx. 7/8" wide. The images are beautifully hand painted on soft shades of purple, green, and yellow. They have a gold tone painted border.
Pansy earrings show scuffing and wear, which seems to add to the charm and age of the earrings. These imperfections in no way detract from the beauty or integrity of the earrings.
Neither pair of earrings are signed or marked. They come from Germany .
They are in good condition with some wear. Screw back mechanisms work just fine.
