Antique Wood & Hughes Sterling Silver Engraved Napkin Ring Palmette Design Center 1880
We are offering aWood & Hughes sterling silver napkin ring, decorated with applied circle and dot rims . Body features engraved floral band with ornate cartouche, monogrammed "M E S" in period script. Either side features palmette leaf designs. c. 1875-1885.
This lovely napkin ring is 1 7/8" in diameter, 1 1/4" tall and weighs 28.2 grams
The soft, warm, original finish is present, hand polished.
Excellent original condition and clear, crisp detail, with no removals, repairs or alterations, make this a lovely offering. Minor tarnish remains. Normal age related wear.
