Antique Grand Tour Europe Postcard Lot 445 w/ Book Victorian Edwardian 1910
We are offering an antique leather book of 445 postcards from 1910, collected across a Grand Tour of Europe, measuring about 15”x10” and 4” tall. This lot is a mixture of postcards from across Europe, both real pictures and illustrations. It was fashionable at the time for well-to-do people to take a pilgrimage-like trip across the continent, often collecting mementos as they went. This book is much like a catalogue of the trip, marking the important places they went. Heavy- 8lbs 9 oz!
This piece is the perfect addition to any collection. The inside of the book is labelled “June 11th to August 10th 1910”.
Very good condition with minimal wear to the postcards, and some expected aging to the binding and pages of the book.
