Herend Green Fishnet Parrot Figurine Hand Painted 24K Gold Balta Szilvia
Today we have a beautiful Herend Hungary hand-painted porcelain parrot figurine featuring the classic green fishnet pattern. The bird is perched on a branch with strawberries, leaves, and colorful decorative accents. Richly detailed in green, cobalt blue, turquoise, pink, and black, with 24K gold accents to the beak, claws, and tail feathers.
The underside bears the blue Herend Hungary Handpainted factory mark, pattern/decorator notation “F91,” and a handwritten artist/decorator signature of Balta Szilvia, and a date of 11/12/1994
A particularly colorful example of Herend’s celebrated animal and bird figures, combining the traditional fishnet decoration with an unusually elaborate multicolor wing and fruit-decorated base. In our opinion, this is one of the more handsome variations we've found of the Green Fishnet Variation of this particular posed parrot.

Condition:
Very good pre-owned condition with light surface wear consistent with age and display. No chips, cracks, or repairs observed. Gold and hand-painted decoration remain bright and attractive. Some light discoloration/residue and shelf wear are present on the unglazed underside of the base. Please review all photos for condition and detail.
