Vintage Rare Art Deco Lincoln MFG Co Venetian Slip Shade Wall Sconces Pair 1930s

Today we have a very rare near-antique pair of Art Deco slip shade wall sconces, attributed to Lincoln MFG Co, circa 1930s. cast metal (aluminum?) backplates with bold geometric stepped forms, stylized fan/floral motifs, cutout side brackets, and original frosted pressed glass shades.

The shades have a classic Art Deco skyscraper form with paneled vertical ribs, raised floral and scroll designs, rounded medallion details, and pointed faceted ends. The metal bodies appear to be cast aluminum or similar white metal with an aged silver-toned finish. Each backplate is cast/stamped with the number 10235, and the switches are marked Leviton with visible 3A 125V / 1A 250V rating.

Each sconce retains its porcelain/ceramic socket and older cloth wiring. Wiring appears aged and should be inspected, restored, or replaced by a qualified electrician before installation or use. We have not tested for functionality

Approx. Assembled Measurements (per unit): 5 3/8"W 15"H

*Condition*
Good antique condition overall with age-related wear. Metal shows oxidation, patina, surface grime, darkening, finish wear, and some rust to screws/hardware. We chose not to polish as the patina has a great charm. Glass shades display very well but have expected roughness, small chips/flea bites, and edge wear around the fitter/cutout areas. One shade has more noticeable roughness/chipping along the cut edge. No major cracks noted, but there is a very tiny spider crack near the opening edge on one of the shades. Both present beautifully. Please review all photos closely.

Great original Art Deco lighting pair for restoration, architectural salvage, historic home interiors, theater decor, bathroom/vanity lighting, hallway lighting, or period-appropriate 1920s/1930s design.
