An excellent representation of 1930-1940's industrial art from the local estate of listed American artist Forrest Cooper ( - 1992).

Fabulous painting! Gritty colors. Wonderful subject matter. Shown is a group of 7 industrial Railroad workers toiling away in their daily work, underground, several levels down from street level.
Oil on Masonite board. Unsigned. He rarely signed his work. Unframed.
Colors: Brick Red, gray, black, sepia, brown, white
This was obtained directly from the family of Forrest Cooper when his estate was liquidated.
