Rare Vintage Living Christ Crucifix Plaster Wood Christian Wall Cross Hanger 18"

Offered here is a very nice, unusual style of a Crucifix.

This vintage item shows Christ on the cross robed, crowned and serenely conscious. The chasuble, worn only by one celebrating holy mass, and crown symbolize his dignity during his 40 days on earth as his glorified self, while awaiting his ascencion.  

The figure of Jesus is of plaster while the cross is of lovely oak wood. It is in very good condition with a few very small chips and a thin, stable, horizontal crack where the feet extend out ot His robe.

It measures 18" (height) x 10 7/8" (width) x 2" (depth).
