Here we have a pair of original WWII-era U.S. Navy WAVES women’s coat collar insignia patches. Each patch features an embroidered winged anchor design in light blue and white thread on a black wool backing. These small wool patches were used as collar insignia for WAVES women’s Navy outerwear/uniform coats.

Approx. dimensions: about 1 1/2" wide each.

Vintage used condition with age wear throughout. Edges appear hand-cut or removed from a uniform garment, with some fraying, loose threads,and general wear from age/use. Embroidery remains clearly visible with nice period character. Please review photos for exact condition.
