Vintage Ardalt Italy porcelain inkwell featuring an ornate floral majolica-style design with heavy gilt decoration, raised molded details, and a lidded center ink resovoir. The base includes integrated pen rests and decorative side compartments
Marked on underside: Ardalt Italy, Oro Aretine, 14576/1.
Condition:
Good vintage conditi. There is rubbing and loss to the gold trim in areas, light surface wear, and some minor glaze/cosmetic imperfections from manufacture and age. The removable inner insert is present, as is the lid. No major structural damage noted. Displays very well. The ink catcher inside the resovoir has a stain, but everything looks quite clean. Bottom base has the usual shelf wear and some discoloration.
