Vintage Iridescent Blue Morpho Butterfly Wing Plate -Wall Art -Made in Brazil 5.75"
We are offering a vintage 1930-1940's hanging round plate, measuring about 5.75” in diameter by 7/8" high.. This piece uses real iridescent butterfly wings to create an image of a butterfly surrounded by colorful, concentric circles. The back of the plate is still marked with the original “Made in Brazil” sticker.
Depending on how you look at the plate, the color changes on the butterfly! Inset with glass could be lucite, looks like tin or aluminum backing.
This piece is the perfect addition to any collection.
