Vintage Lunning,Inc Stangl Pottery Peter Rabbit Child’s Plate & Bowl Set Kiddieware 1950s
We are offering a vintage child’s bowl and plate pair, the plate measuring about 9.5” in diameter and the bowl measuring about 5.75” in diameter and 2” tall. This set by Stangl features scenes of Peter Rabbit detailed in pink, green, and brown, with burnt orange undersides. The bottom is marked “Lunning Inc” on each. The set was made for Frederick Lunning, Inc, NY. This pair is the perfect addition to any collection. 1940-1950’s.
Very good to excellent condition with one tiny spot missing glaze on the rim of the bowl, otherwise no chips or cracks and only some minor crazing. There are some imperfections in the glaze as a result of the manufacturing process, not damage.
