We are offering a huge vintage mid-century modern Chinese paper fan painting, measuring about 35” x 20”. Wood spokes support the fan.
This piece is a gorgeously hand-painted gouache watercolor in a traditional style, depicting two tigers resting under a tree.
Beautiful wall art!
The left side has some calligraphy and both zhu wen and bai wen seals. Hanging from the bottom is a red tassel. On the back are two loops of thread for wall hanging. This piece is the perfect addition to any collection.
Very good condition with no tears. There is some slight wear to the paper where it folds, which is to be expected, considering its age. Please refer to pictures for details.
