Vintage MCM hand-carved wooden statue depicting a figural image of Moses holding the Ten
Commandments, c1960s, Israel. Contructed of olive wood. Solid one-piece item. Long,
detailed beard, hair, and sleeves on his robe attire. The commandments show several
Hebrew letters. Thick, square-shaped bottom. Underside shows three stickers, each one
having Hebrew text and the numbers "000951, 200, 34".
Item measures 14 1/2" High x 4 1/2" Wide x 4" Deep.
Good to very good. The majority of the figure features a slightly polished, light-tan
finish, some sections darker than others. Three tiny nicks show on the piece's exterior
(not deep, just the surface finish): on the bridge of the nose, the back of the hand that is
resting on the tablet, and on an edge of the robe.
