This piece has a gorgeous cityscape on the water as well as elaborate boat motifs and floral motifs. This piece has a tab insert type clasp and the back is marked "Thailand Sterling Silver”. Niello is traditionally a black mixture of silver, copper, and lead and is often used in inlay metal. It was a popular mid century trend, as Soldiers who came back to America from Thailand often brought these pieces back for their wives.
