Vintage Western Electric Telephone Model 211 Space Saver Rotary Dial 43A F1 & 634A Ringer

For offer is a vintage Bell System telephone Model 211 Space Saver rotary dial telephone made by Western Electric and its original ringer box from the 1930s-1940s. This phone came from an optometrician's office that opened around the turn of the century in Collingswood, New Jersey. Up until recently, the phone was still mounted on the wall upstairs in an office and the ringer box was hooked up in the basement below because it must have been too loud! While it has not been in use in many years, the rotary dial still turns. Would look great on your wall or to be fixed up for use!

The phone is stamped "43A" and "G1" below the dial and the receiver says "Bell System manufactured by Western Electric Company F1" indicating this model uses the F1 handset and G1 holder. The ringer box is stamped 634A on the inside and says "Tel. Co Property" on the back. The face of the rotary dial has the old phone number for the office on it and it reads "Area Code 609 ULysses 8-0722". The top of the phone also has a vintage sticker for MasterCard and Visa sales authorization. Before the days of the internet!

Condition: This item is vintage, as-is condition.  It was removed from the wall of a old shop where the phone was upstairs and the ringer was in the basement. We were told it was working when the wires were cut a long time ago. It HAS NOT been tested. We did not feel comfortable trying to restore this and test it so we are selling it to someone in hopes they will use it for decoration or maybe to fix it up for their own use. The wires in the back of both pieces were cut when the unit was removed. Please see photos for specific condition!
