Vintage Whale & Sailboat Suncatcher Pair Stained Glass 70s Kitsch Nautical Maritime
We are offering a pair of vintage 1970s suncatchers, the whale measuring about 3.5H x 7” W x 0.5” D and weighing 3oz; and the boat measuring about 3.75” H x 5” W x 0.5” D and weighing 3oz. This pair is a lovely stained glass rendition of a whale, with metal detailing to create waves and a spout, and a sailboat, with white sails and a red flag.
The sailboat is signed at the bottom along the metal, but we aren’t sure what it says (possibly “Sun Fun”?).
When hung in a window to receive sunlight, the true beauty of these pieces shines through.
This pair is the perfect addition to any collection.
Note: The spout is bendable, but very delicate. We do not recommend that you attempt to reposition it, as that may cause it to break.
Excellent condition with no cracks or chips.
