Vintage Witco Tiki Style Eagle Statue Sculpture Hand Carved Wood Folk Art 70s Patriotic
We are offering a vintage hand carved Witco Tiki style statue, measuring about 36” wide and 29” tall. This piece beautifully depicts an eagle perched on a craggy rock. The wings are detachable, and each large piece of the whole is carved out of a single piece of wood. There is some varnish on the beak, eyes, and talons to give some contrast to the feathers of the main body and add a life-like quality. This piece is the perfect addition to any collection.
Very good condition with some expected age-related wear. There are some cracks along the grain of the wood which do not threaten the integrity of the piece and are a natural result of aging. The tips of a few feathers on the wings have chipped off.
