Vintage Blackfoot Great Plains Native American Beaded Tobacco Medicine Pouch Purse Suede Leather
We are offering a vintage Blackfoot Great Plains Native American medicine or tobacco pouch, measuring about 4.5” wide and 7.5” tall (8” wide and 9” tall with the fringe). This piece is a supple black suede with a repeated beadwork cross design on both sides in red, blue, and white, with a red and white bead pattern about the scalloped opening. The original matching drawstring is included. The previous owner was a nurse who worked for the Blackfoot tribe in Montana. She was gifted this. This piece is the perfect addition to any collection.
Excellent condition with minimal age-related wear. All the fringe and beadwork is intact.
