VTG Deco Real Butterfly Wing Reverse Painted Art Wood Tray Morpho Blue Brazil
We are offering a vintage 1930’s Deco wood inlaid tray, measuring about 20.25” wide, 13.125” high, and 1.75” deep at the handles. The body of the tray is a beautiful design made of butterfly wings, covered with glass reverse painted in black and gold with a scene of a river and rolling hills. The piece is labeled “Rio de Janeiro/ Brazil”. The yellow and orange are contrasted by the flashes of iridescent blue, evoking the sight of a sunset over water. This piece is the perfect addition to any collection.
Very good condition with some expected age-related wear. The wood paneling at the back is beginning to slightly warp, as expected of a piece of this age.
