Vintage Deco Japanese Art Watercolor Painting Original Flowers Birds Framed Showa ca 1930
We are offering a vintage Deco Japanese watercolor painting, measuring about 8.75” wide x 10.75”high in the frame. This piece is dated to around 1930, and depicts a colorful bird (a sparrow?) perched on a flowering branch.
The blue of the flowers and the red on the bird are eye-catching against the more monochrome background. In the bottom left corner is a red seal. The frame is an understated mid-century style, black wood with slightly rounded corners.
The back has a sticker for the shop the piece was originally purchased from, and a label with the tentative date.
This piece is the perfect addition to any collection.
Excellent condition with minimal age-related wear.
