VTG Sarah Curley Navajo Sterling Kingman Turquoise and Shell Heshi Bead Necklace 17"
The item being offered is a beautiful vintage Sarah Curley Navajo hand made sterling silver, Santo Domingo Kingman mine Turquoise, and carved shell graduated bead necklace. The clasp is a hook type clasp that is not marked, however we have performed the appropriate testing to know the metal is sterling.
This necklace was hand made by Sarah for the owner of a jewelry store / trading post in New Mexico. We obtained this through the shop owner's niece
The Kingman Turquoise Mine is one of the oldest and highest producing Turquoise Mines in America. It was originally discovered by prehistoric Indians well over 1000 years ago. Kingman Turquoise is known for its beautiful sky blue color and produces many variations of blue Turquoise.
