Antique Japanese Art Edo Woodblock Print Ukiyo-e Woman & Man Kimono Framed
We are offering an antique Japanese ukiyo-e Edo woodblock print, measuring about 9.75”wide x 12.75” high in the frame.
The print features a woman in a beautiful kimono printed with maple leaves alongside her son, who is also wearing a lovely kimono printed with lotus flowers, kneeling and staring off into the distance.
There is also some geometric texturing to the paper in the areas of negative space, which adds a unique flair to the image.
Purple, orange, red, blue, green, white
The piece is believed to be from the Edo Period, circa 1850s. The frame is an understated mid-century style, black with slightly rounded corners. This piece is the perfect addition to any collection.
Excellent condition with minimal age-related wear.
