Description:
Vintage hand painted pottery pitcher / ewer with a tripod footed base, flared spout, handle, and red-brown and dark brown painted decoration over a tan/cream ground. The design has a Southwestern, Pueblo, and/or Pre-Columbian revival look, though exact origin, maker, and tribal/cultural attribution are unknown. Decorative geometric banding around the neck with floral and scroll-style decoration around the body.

Condition:
Antique condition with surface wear, crazing, discoloration, darkened areas, scuffs, and age-related patina throughout. There is a large, noticeable crack on the body noted in the photos. Roughness and small chips/wear visible around the rim, feet, and raised areas. Interior shows staining/darkening from age and use/display. No visible maker’s mark shown.
