Antique Italian Carved Wood Frame Fratelli Alinari Firenze Photo Frame
Antique carved wood tabletop picture frame, that would've originally housed a photograph from Fratelli Alinari of Florence, Italy. The frame features a distinctive arched top with deeply carved geometric and foliate-style motifs with strong Italian / Renaissance revival look.
The reverse retains a partially intact original paper label reading “Fratelli Alinari Fotografi Editori – Firenze,” confirming its association with the well-known Italian photographic publisher. Frames like this were commonly sold with Alinari prints in the late 19th to early 20th century.
