Antique Japanese Moriage Vase Lamp Gold Gilt High Relief Immortals & Dragons
We are offering an antique Japanese moriage vase turned lamp, measuring about 19.25” tall without a harp, to the lamp socket, and roughly 8" wide. This piece is an ornate gold moriage with incredible detail in the figures that wrap around the entire circumference, including haloed men and women with a dragon weaving among them.
That some of the figures and objects are in relief gives a sense of depth to the scene.
This piece is the perfect addition to any collection.
Very good condition. A small chip in the wooden base has been repaired. The lamp is in working order.
