Antique Japanese Victora China Orange Dragonware Demitasse Tea Set for 6 - 15 Pc
Antique Victora China dragonware tea / demitasse set, made in Japan. The set features an beautiful orange ground with raised hand-painted dragon decoration, blue accent marks, speckled detailing, and gold trim. Pieces are marked “Hand Painted Victora China” with Japan labels on the bottoms. Rare to find, especially as a "complete set". Roughly dated circa 1930's. Note this is a demitasse set so the cups are smaller than a usual tea set. Please see our scale photo with a can for comparitive reference!

Condition:
Very good antique pre-owned condition with visible age and handling wear throughout.
Plates: Very good shape, no major chips or cracks noted. Appears to be a scratch on the face of one the plates. Usual table/shelf wear to the bases. 4/6 retain their "Japan" import stickers.
Cups: All cups have wear to the gilt trim. Two of the cups have a noticeable chip on the rim. Paint is generally in very good condition. Bases are in nice shape. 3/6 retain "japan" import stickers.
Tea pot, sugar bowl, and creamer have somewhere and haind painted inconsitency in gilt trim. Paint looks great. Normal shelf wear.
