Antique Kellogg Switchboard Wall Mount Magneto Telephone Masterphone Circuit
Today we have an Antique Kellogg wood wall mount telephone with “Magneto Masterphone Circuit”. Manufactured K&S Co., Chicago. Exterior metal plate is marked “Western Electric U.S.A.”
Based on the inclusion of Western Electric components and the well documented lawsuit between them & Kellogg, we date this piece roughly (but safely) between 1897-1907.
Features a wood wall box, twin black external bells, crank magneto generator, original-style wiring components, and black bakelite handset with coiled cord. Great display piece for collectors of early telephones, switchboard equipment, or general communications history.

Antique, untested, sold as-is. Shows age, wear, scuffs, oxidation, finish wear, dust, old wiring,etc. Wood case has scratches, edge wear, holes, small chips/losses, and old repairs/marks. Crank does mechanically operate/turn.
