Antique Villeroy & Boch Delft Blue Jester Cabinet Charger Plate Rare German 12”
We are offering an antique Villeroy & Boch charger plate, measuring about 12” in diameter and 1.5” high. This piece is delft blue in their Jester pattern, depicting a smiling man playing a mandolin. The rim has simple flowers that add flair but don’t distract from the central image. There are two holes drilled in the back with a wire threaded for hanging. The back is marked “V&B M” and stamped “(?)044” and “33”. This piece is the perfect addition to any collection!
Very good to excellent condition with no chips or cracks. There is crazing across the piece, as expected with its age, but thankfully the detail of the pattern disguises it well.
