Herend Hungary 5179 Rust Fishnet Pheasant Figurine Hand Painted 24K Gold
Today we have an exceptional Herend (Hungary) hand-painted porcelain pheasant figurine, model #5179, decorated in the classic rust/red fishnet pattern. The figure has an incredible elongated tail where the hand painted artistry really shines and abstracts. 24k Gold detailing is found on the beak, claws, and portions of the tail feathers.
The pheasant stands on an oval white porcelain base with foliage detail. Underside bears the blue Herend Hungary shield mark with “Handpainted,” along with an impressed model number.
