Today we have a beautiful vintage Herend Hungary hand-painted porcelain hare/rabbit figurine, model #15307, decorated in the classic Rust Fishnet (VH) pattern.
This larger seated hare features Herend’s distinctive hand-painted rust-red fishnet decoration over white porcelain, with distinctly detailed black eyes and 24K gold accents to the nose and paws.
The underside displays the blue Herend Hungary Handpainted shield/brush backstamp, impressed HEREND and model number 15307. It is additionally hand signed “Balta Szilvia” and dated 11/13/94. Balta is a well documented Herend porcelain artist, noted for demonstrating exceptional hand-painting technique.
