Vintage B&L Bausch & Lomb 1/10 12K GF Round Eyeglasses w/ Case
Vintage B&L / Bausch & Lomb gold-filled eyeglasses with original-style optometrist case from Camden, New Jersey. The frames are marked “B&L 1/10 12K GF” on the bridge, indicating 1/10 12K gold-filled construction.
Classic round wire-rim frame with a polished gold-tone finish, adjustable nose pads, and cable-style temples with amber-toned ear covers. Includes the black hard case with blue velvet interior, marked for Dr. Charles H. Sullivan / Dr. Howard E. Sullivan, Optometrists, 436–38 Broadway, Camden, N.J. Interior label reads “Chas. H. Sullivan O.D., Optometrist, Camden, N.J.” with handwritten number 52544.
*Condition*
The glasses retain old prescription lenses. Lenses show age/use and should be considered display pieces or replaced for wear. Frame appears intact with age-appropriate surface wear, patina, light tarnish, and minor finish wear. Nose pads and temple covers show yellowing/discoloration from age. Case shows exterior wear, rubbing to the gold lettering, interior velvet wear, dust, and general storage wear.
