Antique Doyle & Bowers Philadelphia Wire Rim Eyeglasses w/ Case & Cloth
Today we have a really nice pair of antique eyeglasses from Doyle & Bowers Philadelphia, PA with case and pink Doyle & Bowers Guild Opticians cleaning cloth. The glasses have a thin wire-rim frame with rounded/panto-style lenses, a very distinctive raised bridge, nose pads, and curved cable-style temples/earpieces. Nice period look with a lightweight metal frame and clear prescription lenses currently installed.
The case has a burgundy velvet-style interior. Interior labels read “Return For Repairs To Doyle & Bowers, 125 So. 18th St., Phila.”

Good antique condition. Frames show age-appropriate surface wear, some light tarnish/discoloration, and some small areas of finish wear. Nose pads are yellowed from age. Lenses have visible scratches/scuffs and are prescription, so they may need to be replaced for use. Case shows exterior wear, edge wear, and interior fabric wear from age/storage. Cloth has age toning and wear. Please review photos closely for condition details.
