Antique embossed aqua glass “Favorite Cream Root Beer” bottle manufactured by the Favorite Manufacturing Co. of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, U.S.A. Features a classic rectangular medicine/bottle form with raised lettering reading “ONLY MANUFACTURED BY FAVORITE MAN’F’G CO PHILADA PA U.S.A.” and “EACH BOTTLE MAKES 5 GALLONS FAVORITE CREAM ROOT BEER.”
This appears to be an early root beer extract or concentrate bottle, likely dating to the late 19th or early 20th century. Info is a bit scarce, a rare example. Bottles such as these were sold to consumers for homemade soda and root beer preparation during the height of America’s patent beverage era.

Sold as found.Displays noticeable age and surface wear throughout with interior residue/cloudiness from age and use. There are chips and roughness around the top lip/opening as shown in photos. No major cracks detected. A nice authentic antique advertising bottle with strong embossing and attractive aqua coloration.
