Antique Lot of 2 Embossed Apothecary / Medicine Bottles Aqua & Clear Glass
Interesting pair of antique embossed medicine / apothecary bottles, including a larger aqua example embossed “SPARKS PERFECT HEALTH FOR KIDNEY & LIVER DISEASES” and a smaller frosted clear bottle embossed “DURAND & TOURTELOTS PHARMACEUTICALS PHILADELPHIA.” Both appear to date to the late 19th or early 20th century and retain attractive age-related wear and interior haze from long-term storage and use.
*Condition*
Both bottles display notable surface wear, scratches, staining, and residue consistent with excavated or long-stored antique glass bottles. No major cracks were observed, though there may be minor manufacturing imperfections, roughness, or small flea bites from age and handling. A nice pair for collectors of antique medical advertising, apothecary bottles, Philadelphia pharmaceutical history, or early American glass.
