Antique aqua glass “umbrella” or polygonal inkwell with a wide octagonal body and rolled lip. These geometric Victorian-era desk inkwells were commonly used during the late 19th to early 20th century and are collected for their unusual form, color, and hand-finished glass characteristics. This example features a nicely irregular hand-worked appearance with visible waviness in the glass, a thick applied lip, and light interior iridescence from age.
Approx dimensions: 2 1/8” x 2 1/2”
